As it’s apparent everyone loves to read the ‘About Page’, please note that I am insane. I have a difficult time keeping a train of thought and I have no idea what it means to be cool. Let me destroy all expectations that you may have; this is not going to be a cool blog. I don’t know what a cool blog would even be like. However, if you are taking the time to poke around here, you’ll see this block of 1′s and 0′s constantly morph as I find new and creative ways to enhance the bejeezus out of this. Much like the rest of the blog, this “About” page will most likely change and update often, so keep checking back. And now, without any further ado, enjoy The Silent “C”…
It happened like this: BOOM! New Years Eve, 1972. I took my first breath into this world and I was named “James” by my loving parents. My dad was Hungarian and came with the last name of “Borocz”, and the rest is now history. I realize that my last name has poor consonant to vowel ratio. When pronounced properly, it contains sounds that don’t even exist in English. Therefore, I pronounce my last name so it sounds similar to William S. Burroughs (thus the silent “c”). I currently live with my amazing (and patient) wife and two crazy dogs just outside of New York City.
Our home is a converted historical building that used to be a pump house for the town of Wycagyl, NY. Our back yard hosts a 500 acre nature preserve with plenty of trees and ponds for the dogs to play in.
Many people also know me as James Capricorn, a moniker I inherited and use when standing behind two turntables. My DJ style is influenced by tech house and funky breakbeats. I like my music psychedelic, organic, and funky. Think West Coast underground. Yeah. That’s it.
I write about the observations in my life that are hilarious and often so matter-of-fact that they would pass me by if I wasn’t paying any attention at all. I tend to be sarcastic and insightful mixed up with hidden agenda. I’ve put the plug in the jug and now this is where I find my amusement. I hope you do, too. This planet is a funny place to be right now. At least it is for me.
By the way, I do plan on saving the world.
I think I’m going to start off by saving myself, first.
Collective consciousness, here I come!
I hope you can enjoy the ride……
Nice. That just about sums it up. Is it weird to say that I am proud of you? Now keep your head out of your ass so you can breathe.
Thanks, buddy. I’ll do what I can, but not much more.
Well I finally get to see who the infamous screwy is! Great picture of you. You are different than what I had expected and that’s a good thing!
I wish you all the best with your new found “plug in the jug.” It’s not easy, take one step at a time & Let go & Let God! All the best to you.
Jeff’s wife and the mother of his children,

James, this is beautiful. I’m so happy to have a place to connect with your world off of Facebook and MySpace. I will bookmark your blog and stop by often.
Hey Jodi! It’s great that you found me. This blog suits my ADD quite well. *snicker*
Funny stuff, mang. Keep it up.
